Privacy Policy
The Privacy Act of 1988 requires all Australian entities to offer a privacy policy. The act regulates the handling of personal information, including data collection, usage, storage, and disclosure.
-
Musica Barquera only collects personal & contact information for purposes of the ensemble's immediate audience development. It does not have any relationship with third-party services. The provision of information allows us to collate data regarding regions best served, as well as whom to notify when performing & touring in different locations.
-
Without audience contact data, we are unable to inform the general public of upcoming shows, workshop possibilities, offers, helpful resources, or any music & merchandise giveaways. Via email communication, we can notify audiences directly, especially those without social media, of any upcoming developments.
-
Our contact data (email lists) are collected primarily through subscriptions to this website, feedback forms, and any physical email lists collated at our touring performance venues.
-
A contact/email list allows us to continue communication with our audience, even if social media channels suddenly become unavailable (i.e. if a profile is randomly hacked or deleted).
